Welcome to the BDSA
The British DanceSport Association is the Governing Body for Ballroom and Latin American dancing, in all its forms, in the United Kingdom. Our mission is to unify the industry, bring democracy to DanceSport, and create a sporting regulatory regime that supports everyone, giving dancers the help they need to succeed at the elite level.
Our core ethos is encapsulated by our strapline: "Ballroom Without Boundaries, Latin Without Limitations". We want every dancer, from beginners to professionals, to compete honestly and competitively, without prejudice or bias, through competitive pathways.
We want our community to be a place of "Inspiration Without Intimidation". No matter your skill level or background, the BDSA is a nurturing and supportive environment.
