Andy Barton (The Sporting Mind) Partnership

The BDSA Board is pleased to announce a new partnership with Andy Barton and his organisation The Sporting Mind. Andy is one of the UK's leading performance coaches, as well as a trainer, mentor, writer and speaker.

All members will be receiving an email detailing the offer agreed with Andy together with Andy’s top tips on overcoming the mental challenges of performing this week.

Andy Barton is one of the UK's leading performance coaches, as well as a trainer, mentor, writer and speaker. He has a worldwide client base working in the areas of sport, business the performing arts and personal development.

Andy is particularly known for his work in the sports field where his clients include Premiership footballers, European Tour golfers, Olympians, international rugby players, cricketers, tennis players and motorsport competitors. Andy also works with clients from a wide range of other fields including business leaders, stage and screen actors, musicians, comedians, financial traders, entrepreneurs, politicians, designers, professional poker players and writers to name a few.

A regular contributor to news and media, Andy is often called upon to discuss performance issues for TV, radio and print, including appearances on Newsnight, ITV News, BBC News, Sky Sports, CNN, BBC Radio, Channel 4, Five News, LBC and TalkSport.

​Andy has also written for a number of publications including the Times, the Guardian, Eurosport, BBC Interactive, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Inside United and Cycling Plus.
