Peter started dancing at the age of 7, and his passion and love for Ballroom and Latin American dancing took him from the grassroots, all the way to the Professional level. Over the years he obtained many titles, including:
- British Open Junior Formation Team Member Champion
- Junior and Amateur Regional & City Latin and Ballroom Champion and 10 Dance Champion
- UK Closed Youth Latin Champion
- World Amateur Latin representative for New Zealand
- UK Closed Professional Latin Finalist
- UK Open Professional Ten Dance Finalist
- Semi Finalist at the European Professional 10 Dance Championships in Germany, representing Great Britain.
Following his competitive career, Peter continued to grow as a Professional within the field of Ballroom and Latin American DanceSport, with him obtaining qualifications of Associate, Licentiate and Fellow in Ballroom and Latin with the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) and Associated Board of Dance (ABD). In addition to this, he is also a National and International Championship adjudicator and an Examiner. He is a former trustee of the registered charity, The Dancers Forget me not Fund.
Peter is currently an examiner for Independent Dance Training (IDT) and was formerly the ABD Southern Area Chairman, ABD Ballroom Director and President, and the former ABD British Dance Council Director.
Furthermore, he previously served as a member of the Dance Promoters Association Executive Committee and coordinator at the UK Closed Championship. He was also formerly a coordinator at the Dance News International Championships held at The Royal Albert Hall, along with the UK Open Championships held at the Bournemouth International Centre.
Peter has appeared in various TV and pop videos and a BAFTA and Oscar award winning film, and in 2013, Peter, and his wife Faye, established their Ballroom and Latin American Academy.
