Acro Lyrical

Acro Lyrical is an expressive dance style that combines the emotional storytelling of lyrical dance with the strength, flexibility, and control of acrobatics. It blends flowing, graceful movement with acrobatic elements such as balances, walkovers, cartwheels, handstands, rolls, lifts, and controlled tumbling.

Unlike routines that focus only on tricks, Acro Lyrical uses acrobatic skills to support the meaning, mood, and musicality of the choreography. Movements are usually soft, fluid, and connected, with transitions designed to look seamless rather than separate from the dance.

Acro Lyrical is often performed to emotional or expressive music and is popular in competitions, showcases, and stage performances. It allows dancers to combine athletic ability with artistry, creating routines that feel powerful, graceful, and deeply expressive.
